HARVEY CLAY TRENT SR.

Deacon Harvey Clay Trent Sr., A veteran of the U.S. Army departed this life peacefully at home on September 5, 2019. Born March 18, 1935 in Middleboro, Kentucky to the late Helen Carson and Prince Arthur Trent. Preceded in death by his loving children Robin and Michael Trent, Uncle Leland Trent and Aunt Thelma Trent.

Harvey leaves to cherish his Charismatic memory four children; Harvey (Tara) Trent, Yolanda Trent, Vanessa (Robert) Trent-Williamson, Robert Trent, and Daughter in-law Dorothea Trent. Siblings; Daniel Trent of Babylon, NY, Patricia Evans of California, and Ida Trent-Williamson of Detroit, MI. Eighteen grandchildren: LaQuita Williamson, Leketha Dews, Sharonda Trent, Michael (Jaclyn) Trent Jr., Devosta Trent, Tiffany (Johnny) Trent, Robert Williamson Jr., Ashley (Teddy) Jackson, Anthony Batiste, Ti'Arra Gwynne, Trametrius Trent, Tanisha Williamson, Robynn Williamson, Jahoomi trent, Michael Trent, Alexis Trent, Jaylen and Rey Trent. Forty-one Great grand children, including Fred Miles, Jordan Trent Harris, I'lliyah Dews, TiAndra Phillips and TiAonna Walton. Devoted Cousin Rev. Arthur and Godiva Trent, and Three Great great grandchildren. Special friends Sally Collins and Alonzo Caldwell. Mother of Children Rebecca Trent, and a host of dear nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Harvey deepened his relationship with Christ, fellowshipping as a deacon with Greater Love Christian Church. Harvey a devoted father, dedicated grandfather and compassionate friend, has genuinely loved by all. He loved his family dearly, and has overcome many adversities. To us, he's legendary, admirable and a true role model. He will be truly missed.

Services will be September 12, 2019 at 11 am, Greater Love Christian Church, 2345 Lakeview Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45417, Interment Dayton VA Cemetery.
