LOVE, Alexander Ricardo departed this life to spend eternity with Jesus on April 26,2026. Alex, as he was so affectionally, known, was truly one of a kind. Being the youngest boy of all of his siblings, he was constantly surrounded with love and attention. His polite and manurable disposition always touched those around him. He was a graduate of Spring Valley Academy, class of 2018. He was recently employed at DuPont where he made an immediate and substantial impact amongst his peers. When Alex was around you could always expect a warm hug and a helpful hand. He absolutely adored children, especially his many nieces and nephew or his "siblings" as he would say. Alex enjoyed cooking and had inherited a few of his father 's master chef trades. He was known as a momma's boy, a title he proudly bore. Alexander loved his family and extended family; he was always game for gatherings for no reason at all. He accepted the lord as His Savior at a very young age. He would send his loved ones encouraging words often and remind them that he was praying for them.
Alexander will be remembered by the many lives he touched. His final mark exemplifies his character as he unselfishly gave his organs to those in need. He is survived by his devoted mother and stepfather Carla and John Pettiford. His supportive father Robert Charles Love, 9 siblings Audrey (Ronald) Mays; Austin (Tabhatha) Love; Alexis ( Andre) Harris; Jasmine Pettiford; Aja (Christopher) Walker; Jewel Pettiford; Kendra Pettiford; Jai Pettiford and Anaiah Pettiford; 15 nieces and nephews; special friend Melody Bowles; and a host of aunts and uncles including special aunt Anissa Patrick; lifelong friends Matthew, Roman, Alaina and Joe Vorderbrueggen, Marcus Bass, Michael Viviano and Ethan Knoth, T.J. McGuire and Ariscene Tuyikunde Irumva. He is preceded in death by maternal (Charles and Wilkie Gross) and paternal grandparents (Charles and Lizzie Love) Uncle Michael Charles Gross; siblings Marcus & David Pettiford; and niece Luna A. Walker.
Memorial Service 11am Thursday May 7, 2026, at Redemption Christian Tabernacle Church 11780 Dixie Drive. Tipp City, OH,45371
