Adrian Sanchez Clark, affectionately known to many as “Ace,” passed away on June 24, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on August 7, 1978, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to loving parents, Wanda Canada-Clark and Elder Michael Clark.
A gifted individual, Adrian earned his GED at the remarkable age of fifteen, achieving recognition as one of the top ten scorers in the nation. His many talents were evident throughout his life—he was musically inclined, a skilled basketball player, and an accomplished band member. Adrian possessed a natural aptitude for learning and mastering a wide range of skills.
He will be remembered as a physically strong, kind-hearted, and light-spirited man who lived life on his own terms. His deep love for his family was unwavering, and in turn, he was deeply loved by them. Through every season of life, Adrian’s faith in God remained steadfast.
Adrian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reverend Talmadge and Mary Clark; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Juanita Canada; beloved aunts, Cynthia L. (Wayne) Martin, Alice Grogins, and Brenda Foster; and cherished uncles, James Baxter and Herbert Canada Jr.
He leaves to honor his memory: his devoted parents, Wanda Canada of Chatanooga, Tennessee and Elder Michael Clark of Atlanta, Georgia; three loving sisters, Andrea (Courtney) Fields, Ashley Clark, and Angelan Shabani; five nephews, Jermaine Carlisle Jr., Cooper Fields, Hudson Fields, Avery Fields, and Kingston Shabani; one niece, Addison Fields; along with a host of loving family members, dear friends, and acquaintances. Adrian will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In a final act of profound generosity and compassion, Adrian Sanchez Clark chose to be an organ donor, a decision that gave the gift of life to three individuals. His selfless and courageous choice stands as a lasting testament to his character, offering hope and healing to others even in his final moments.
“Forever in our thoughts, and always in our hearts.”
