Anthony Turner Obituary

Anthony Renato Turner, born November 28, 1963 to Barbara Jean Riley and Chares Turner, Sr., in Spring Grove, Indiana. He departed from this Earth on Friday, October 7, 2022 to join his Heavenly Father after he had resided in Dayton, Ohio, when he was a child. Anthony, better known as Renato, attended and graduated from Belmont High School in 1982, where he played multiple sports. Straight our of high school he started nursing assisting, where he was and aid at multiple nursing homes. Renato was loving, friendly, kind-hearted man. Every stranger became his friend. He was loved and enjoyed by many. He loved to write rhymes and poetry, something he had been during since childhood and he always loved to dance. He was a great brother, son, uncle and most of all friend, who will be truly missed. Preceded in death by his mother; sisters, Renee and Ruthie Jean Holston; brother, Juan Holston and nieces, Myshayla Cotton and Grace Wolfe. He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Diana (Rico) Wolfe; Shanta Bowman, Ronda and Bilhah Holston; his brothers, Steven (Desiree)Wolfe, Jeffery Lowery, Martin Lee, Charles Eugene Turner, Jr., and David Holston; Renato did not have any children but was a great and sweet Uncle to over thirty nieces and nephews, and a close bond with nephew, Raymond Hooks, Jr. Funeral Services were held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at First Church of the Nazarene. Cremation finally disposition with burial at West Memory Gardens at a later date.
