A TIME TO BE BORN
Arthur (Artie) Eugene Brookins Jr. was born on July 15, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio, to Arthur Eugene Brookins Sr., and the late Debra Michelle (Clark) Thomas.
A TIME TO LIVE
As a youth, Artie loved traveling with his grandparents all over the United States. Artie was a proud graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 2007. He was a very devoted and loving father and anyone who knew him recognized the love that he had for D’Anthony, Adrian and Amarion. He was a loyal and committed employee of Amber Rose Restaurant for over 10 years, and he loved his work and fellow employees. He was passionate about watching the Bengals with his Dads, brothers, uncles and friends, and really enjoyed beating them in pool. Artie always stood heads above the rest and would look down on you with that beautiful smile.
A TIME TO DEPART
God in His infinite grace and mercy gently sealed Artie’s eyes at home unexpectantly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
