Boyd C. Adkins IV, age 37, was born on January 20th, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Boyd C. Adkins III and Tammy Leona Adkins. A proud product of the Dayton Public School system, Boyd graduated from Colonel White High School, Class of 2006. While in school, he was heavily influenced and engaged by JROTC and competed fiercely alongside The Black Knights Drill Team, proudly led by Major Graves.
Boyd was a gentle giant bear of a man who found delight in many of life’s passions. He was the most dedicated and enthusiastic fan of wrestling entertainment, Batman, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and all things technology. He cherished horror films and reveled equally in both good and delightfully bad B movies. Boyd enjoyed the adventures of road trips and traveling, line dancing, and above all, spending precious time with his beloved family—his devoted bunny wife, Martina Muldrew-Adkins, and their cherished Bearcub son, Boyd C. Adkins.
On Monday, July 14th, 2025, Boyd C. Adkins IV passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, Boyd C. Adkins III; his sister, Qiana Adkins–Lloyd; grandparents Boyd and Louise Adkins and Samuel L. and Annie Mae Johnson; Cousin Charles J. (Lil Ju) Martin; and several loving aunts and uncles.
Boyd’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind: his loving wife, Martina Muldrew–Adkins; his son, Boyd C. Adkins V; his mother, Tammy L. Adkins; his brother-in-law, James Lloyd; his niece, Jai'Ana Lloyd; his special cousin, DaNita Caldwell; and his Awesome Aunt Annie Mae (Robert) Lee. He is also survived by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and countless friends—including his band of Super Friends, John Owens, Darryl Jones Jr. (Dirk), and Tyrone Williamson Jr.—all of whom will forever treasure his presence, his humor, and his heart.
A Celebration of Life (PLEASE NOTE: This is not a formal event. Please honor Boyd by wearing either Batman attire, MCU attire, or WWE/WWF/AEW/NPW wrestling merchandise. Also, bring fans for line dancing) will be held from 1:00PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at The Galleria, 4140 Linden Ave, Dayton, OH 45432.
