Obituary
Christopher Lee Reed passed away on April 20, 2023 at the Ohio Hospice Center in Dayton, Ohio after battling cancer. He was 63 Years old. Chris was born on March 17, 1960. Chris is survived by his mother Nell Reed, grandchildren Hayley Hollida and Kristina Hollida, siblings Douglas Reed and his wife Sherry Reed, Lisa Johnson, and Jeffrey Reed. Chris was predeceased by his father Dean Reed and his daughter Mandy Hollida. Chris was born at St. Margaret’s hospital in Hammond, Indiana. He grew up in Highland, Indiana and graduated from Highland High School. He worked a number of jobs until he experienced a back injury in the late 1990’s. Since then he was permanently disabled. He was musically inclined and spent much of his time playing the guitar. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Chris’ passions were music and his grandchildren. He will be forever missed.
