David Lee Barga Sr.

 David Lee Barga (Dave), 69, lifelong resident of Bradford, Ohio, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 16, 2018, Dave was born Oct. 21, 1948, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Lowell S. & Betty (Smith) Barga.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marie (Barga) Clarkson & Patricia (Barga) Owens.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Claudia (Mitchell) Barga; two daughters, Deloris A. & Heidi L.; two sons, David L. & (Jen), Joshua J. & Karen Barga; 11 brothers and sisters, Joe & (Mary) Barga of California, Karen & Ed Richards of Covington, Ohio, Pam & Chuck Byers of Gettysburg, Ohio, Mike & Bonnie Barga of Union City, Ohio, Terry & Bonnie Barga of Tennessee, Ed & Belinda Barga of Arizona, Barb & Rick Lear of Houston, Ohio, Jake Barga, Cindy & Chris Hudelson, Kay & John Jones, Jean & Darrell Swank; two brothers-in-law, Steve Clarkson and Jim Owens; three sisters-in-law, Elaine Jeffers, Pam & Dan France, Belinda & Dave Heisey, all of Bradford, Ohio; six grandchildren, Levi, Kyle, Stella, Curtis, Scotty & Lindsey; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dave was a U.S. Army airborne veteran, serving in Vietnam and receiving a Purple Heart for his service. He was a member of the American Legion and retired from Corning in Greenville, Ohio.

To celebrate Dave's life, there will be a dinner at the Community Club in Bradford, Ohio, from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, March 22. Please come help us celebrate.
