Demarko Shelton was born on July 20, 1990. Known for his intelligence and determination, he graduated early from ISIS Institute of Construction Technology, a testament to his brilliance and drive. He continued his educational journey and was attending Columbus State Community College at the time of his passing. Demarko went on to become a hardworking and dependable man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Demarko was a loving and devoted father, a caring brother, a proud uncle, and a cherished nephew. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the way he always looked out for others. If you needed him, he was there—no questions asked.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Damaria Shelton (Daraesha Battle).
HE WAS BORN TO JACQUELINE R. SHELTON (JOHN WAGNER) AND ROBERT BROOMFIELD (CARMEN BROOMFIELD).
He is survived by his grandmother, Betty Broomfield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn Brown, Wade Shelton, and Robert Broomfield Sr., as well as his brother, Jeffery “Buke” Allen III.
Demarko leaves behind a large and loving family of siblings: Sharonnte Allen, Jeffery Allen Jr., Ashley Broomfield, Shanae Allen, Anthony Simon, Cameron Ziegler, Mark Ramey Jr., Deanna Greene, Justin Allen, Jeremiah Allen, Jamur Allen, Joshua Allen, Jiger Allen, J’La Allen, Venatta Dunson-Allen, Veronica Dunson-Allen, Tiesha Boyd, Tiffany Boyd, Asia Edwards, DeLisa Maybin-Hernton, Joseph Winston, Jacqulyn Winston, Jana Winston, Shaylynn Kirk, Tanyse Kirk, and Reese.
He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, beloved cousins Crystal Bain, Venus Hensley, nieces, nephews, extended family, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Demarko’s love, strength, and presence will never be forgotten.
