George Lewis LeRoy

Mr. George Lewis LeRoy, age 88, was born November 8, 1934 and departed this life August 31, 2023. Was originally from Dayton, Ohio and moved to Salem, Missouri, but returned to Dayton, Ohio due to illness. Retired from the Veterans Administration Center in Durham, North Carolina and served honorably in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. George is preceded in death by his parents, David Lee, Sr and Kattie (Cochran) LeRoy; five brothers; four sisters; one son, Tommy LeRoy and one grandson, Corey LeRoy. He is survived by his wife, Kathyran (Lynch) LeRoy; one sister, Joan (Ralph) Williams; two daughter, Cynthia (LeRoy) Williams and Anita Lynn (LeRoy) Hinton; two sons, David LeRoy and Xavier Lawson; six stepchildren; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
