Henry Rogers, Jr.

ROGERS, Mr. Henry, Jr., age 66, transitioned home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He was born April 21, 1946 to the late Henry Rodgers, Sr and Mary Lee Rodger in Cary, Mississippi. Henry confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at the Apostolic Church of God in Christ in Chicago, Illinois. Henry attended Henry Walters High School and graduated with the class of 1966. He leaves to cherish his memories his son: Christopher (Janice); seven grandchildren: Christopher, Jr., Kri'Shai, Crystal, Sir Christian, Kristina and Shanika Rodgers; four great grandbabies: Ray'Lynn, Serenity, Terrence and Christopher, III; one sister: Pearlie (Willie) Valentine; three nieces: Linda (Howard) McGee, Pamela Thomas and Tanya Carroll; special companion: Tamika Harris; and many other family and friends. Graveside Services 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Jeffersonview Cemetery. Viewing Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:-7:00 p.m., at Pryor Funeral Home, 2520 Shiloh Springs Road.
