Homer Anthony Newby, Jr., affectionately known as "Tony" or "Big Love" was the only child born to the late Homer Newby, Sr and Mary Alice Newby (Hargrove) on august 2, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio. On March 25, 2024 at the age of 65, God saw fit to call Homer home suddenly and unexpectedly. He loved cars, wrestling, Nascar and motorcycles. He was a faithful member of the Dayton Chapter "Bad to the Bone" Motorcycle Club serving as the club's Road Captain. He enjoyed riding with the club and with his late wife Sandra, whom he met while riding and before losing her to cancer in 2009. He was an avid rider until he had a leg amputated. He was a loving father to Dejuan Newby; loving brother to half sister, Kim Lawson; an uncle and cousin to many; friend, buddy, confidant to a many multitude of people. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the United Community Brethren Church, 15 West Hillcrest Avenue, Dayton, Ohio.
