Obituary

FORD, Miss Inyah My'Shae, age 13, was born February 16, 2008 and raised in Dayton, Ohio all her life. She returned to glory on July 5, 2021. She was the youngest child of both parents. Inyah, or better known to those who loved her as "Tink" was a miracle child. Her mother was told she could not have anymore children. Born premature and tiny....Tinker Bell or Tink as known by most. Inyah attended Northridge Middle School were she excelled and had recently completed the sixth grade. She loved and cared for her nieces and nephews; a natural nurturer and children caregiver best described her gifts to the world. Her passions were Anime & Japanese culture. She dreamed of moving to Japan to embrace their culture. Being a stylist and makeup artist was a driving aspiration embedded in her mental. Not to mention she was the Tick Tock Queen. She loved all people, all music and truly enjoyed being herself. She was motivated by her Father not to become a product of her environment, instead let that driving force motivate her to become better! Inyah was preceded by her great grandmother, Marion Ford; her nana, Mary Jane Thompson. Inyah is preparing a place in Heaven for her father, Inmani Ford; her mother, Phoenix Miller-Johnson; grandparents, Michael Ford and Tina Jennings; siblings, Fa'Niesha Miller, Bernadette Miller and Heaven; Jamal Johnson, Imani Ford, Jr; aunts, Malaika Dedrick and Jamila McCarley; uncles, Jeloni Collins; newphew/brother, My'Air Miller; niece/sister, Phy'Nyah "Pei" Piner, Ja'Laiyah Johnson, and a host of over 20 nieces, nephews, which she loved and truly cared for. She always had to be an adult from an early age and she not only embraced it but embodied it. She passed away covering and protecting her niece, that was who Inyah My'Shae Ford was and forever will be remembered. Celebration of her life will be held  1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 2262 No. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, Ohio, Reverend Dr. Renard D.
