James Michael Weatherspoon

James Michael Weatherspoon (Mike) age 61 was born on December 7, 1960 to Charles Hayes and Dorothy Mae Weatherspoon in Dayton, Ohio he went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 26, 2022. James was well known, and a very fun-loving person to be around. He was the life of the party. He liked to dance, cook, play cards and watch sports. He loved to be around family and friends. He accepted Christ in his life to be his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents Charles Hayes and Dorothy Mae Weatherspoon, brother Kenny Weatherspoon, Maternal grandparents Charles and Pansy Weatherspoon and an Uncle Roosevelt Weatherspoon. James leaves to cherish his memory, (2) daughters Julisa Vicroy, and Jennie Vicroy of Dayton, Ohio (2) sisters Diane Weatherspoon of Dayton, Ohio, Tammy (Kevin) West of Richmond, IN. (1) brother Tyrone Weatherspoon of Cincinnati, OH. (1) Aunt Helen Weatherspoon, (2) grandsons JaMir and Keagen Vicroy; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. The family would like to acknowledge a very special friend of James’, Sheila Ford. She was more like a sister to him and was also his caregiver.

Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church-West, 1720 Linnbrook Dr., Dayton, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior, Please wear mask for the services.
