Jerome "Jerry" Michael Williams was born April 1, 1947 to Juanita Williams and Ulysses McCormick. He left high school to go to work for a landscaping company where he eventually worked for the Lieutenant Governor of Illinois and worked for the Lt Governor until he moved to Springfield, Illinois. He then started working for a painting company which he said he enjoyed doing because he liked to draw. He later moved to Sacramento, California where he eventually obtained his GED. He later met Patricia Peters and her children, Sondra (Tim) Peters-Miner, Patrice Peters, AJ Peters and Nicole Peters. They later married and became Jehovah Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leonard and Charles Williams' sister, Janet Perkins; daughter, Renee Brown Parker. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Jeanette Wilson, Jennifer Brown, Renita and Arthur Robertson, Herbert Brown, Lloyd Brown, Sandra Brown, Lisa Brown, LaTasha Perry, Jerome, Jr., David Brown, Arpolia Brown; step-children, Patrice Peters, AJ Peters, Sondra Peters-Miner, Nicole Peters; sisters, Juanita (William) McDonald of Laurel, MS; Leon Casey Burrell of Chicago, IL; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relative an many friends.
