Jodi Lyne Staker

Jodi Lyne (Sleesman) Staker 44, of Richmond, Indiana passed away on June 30th, 2022.

Jodi was born August 18th, 1977 in Temple Tx to parents Randy Sleesman and Terri Rymer.
Jodi is preceded in death by her mother Terri Rymer, and cousin Samantha Wagner.  Jodi is survived by her husband Doug Staker, brother Jamey Sleesman, as well as, children: Jasmyn Sleesman, Isiah Staker, Seth staker and daughter in law Abigail. Grandchildren: Bentley, Amora, Grayson, and Serenity.
Raised in Fort Wayne, IN Jodi married Doug Staker in 1998 and they remained “married” for 22 years.
Jodi was an indescribable person, if you met her you’d remember her. She was ALWAYS the life of the party. At only 4’10 Jodi stood 6 feet tall, and everyone knew it. She was an amazing Mother, and Grandmother always made sure her kids and grandkids were taken care of. Our hearts are heavy, and no day will be the same without her. Her laugh was infectious and could make you laugh right along with her.
At the time of her death Jodi had just left all her favorite customers at Sunshine Cafe. She was a badass cook and the bellies of Richmond will never be the same.
She loved to grill, spend time with her kids, and her dog piglet. (She was also known to have a drink or two).
Jodi will be dearly missed by her brother, children, grandchildren, cousins and close friends.
