Kenneth Ted Lindsey Sr., age 61, of Miami, Florida, peacefully departed this life on September 17, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1964, to Pauline Walters and the late Alton James Lindsey with mentions of his loving stepfather, Vincent Walters.
Kenneth lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose presence brought joy and comfort to everyone blessed to know him. His warm heart, steady strength, and generous spirit defined who he was and left a lasting mark on the lives he touched.
He shared a beautiful marriage with his loving wife, Twila Lindsey, who stood faithfully by his side as his partner through life’s blessings and challenges. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and treasured memories. Kenneth’s greatest pride was being a father to his beautiful daughter, Javacia Davenport, and his wonderful son, Kenneth Ted Lindsey Jr., and his loving stepchildren; Charmaine, Donnie, David, and Darrell Johnson who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, resilience, and integrity along with his four brothers, Anthony, Alton, Darren and Travis Lindsey and Kelston Walters; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and grandchildren that will forever be cherished.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Alton James Lindsey, whose memory remained dear to his heart. He is survived by his beloved mother, Pauline Walters, who instilled in him the values of strength and faith that guided his life.
Beyond his deep love for his family, Kenneth enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life brighter. He loved sharing a good beer with friends, watching football games with excitement and passion, and dancing with joy in his heart—whether at a gathering or in a quiet moment at home. These were the moments that reflected his zest for life and the happiness he found in both companionship and celebration.
Kenneth will be remembered for his devotion to family, his love of laughter, and the way he could light up a room with his presence. His spirit of joy, fun, and togetherness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Though he has left this earthly life, Kenneth’s memory will remain a guiding light. His family and friends take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his father Alton James Lindsey and that his spirit will forever live on in every smile, every song, and every celebration of life.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, with a date that's to be determined in 2025. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor his memory, share in his love for laughter, and celebrate a life well lived.
Kenneth Ted Lindsey will be remembered always as a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, and a faithful friend. His legacy of love, laughter, and joy will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
