Lisa Jean Connors, age 59, transitioned from this life to be with the Lord on April 3, 2026. She was born on January 1, 1967, to Selma Lee Lucas and Willie Metcalf. Lisa was kindhearted, giving, loving, and had a jovial spirit. Her personality and laughter were infectious and would transcend any atmosphere especially when she cracked corny jokes. She loved her children, grandchildren, and all her nieces and nephews--Lisa was Auntie to everyone’s children. She loved her big sister, Lizzie, who affectionately called her “Baby”. Lisa held many professions, but she loved the culinary arts. She worked food service and catered to many organizations such as Nexis Lexis, Sinclair Community College, and Maria Joseph Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a graduate of Belmont High (class of 1985) and was a Dallas Cowgirl at heart. Lisa was preceded in death by her husband of almost 20 years, Craig Renard Connors; daughter Britney Connors; her parents: Selma Lucas and Willie Metcalf; grandparents; Special Aunt Betty Parks; and other Aunts, Uncles and siblings. She leaves to morn and forever cherish her memory - children: Josef Ambrose Pollard Jr. and Renard Craig Connors, Jr.; grandchildren: Kamareia A. Pollard, Davion K. Connors, and Rayna N. Taylor; sisters: Elizabeth (Royce) Gates, Kimberly Tabor, and Cyd Parks; brothers: Phillip (Angelia) Parks, Terry (Lisa) Parks and other siblings. Extended family: Joseph (Valerie) Harris; a very special friend Gerald Thornton; and a host of other family and friends.
