Lisa Dailey Obituary

Lisa Dailey, 61, was born August 26,1961 in Dayton, Ohio. She is a graduate of Fairview H.S. She received her associates from Crown Business Institute.  She resided in Atlanta, Ga for 15 years before moving back home to Dayton for the remainder of her life our mother was a fierce, independent woman. she believed in hard work as well as the concept of self forgiveness when all else failed. she encouraged us to strive for our best yet be gentle when our best was not enough for this world. our mother loved thriller movies, mystery novels, the beauty of language. she instilled in us our passions for the arts and our ability to find beauty anywhere. we have always been her shining pride. lisa was the exception to the rules; the world could buck at her but she’d always buck at it harder. she did not live only for herself, but for us too. our mother— the warrior, the magician! she pulled wonders out of thin air everyday. she loved to laugh more than anyone as she was a firm believer that things couldn’t be bad forever. she loved the rain but knew it wouldn’t last forever.

She is proceeded in death by her father Henry Dailey Jr. She leaves behind daughters Ashley Feaster and Jasmine Feaster. Bonus mother Thelma Dailey. Sister Veronica (Faye) Nelome. Bonus daughters Elise Knox, Anthonel Robinson and Sarah Wills. Bonus grandchildren Mykael Sims, Jalon Miller,  Meiya Addcock, Maliq Addcock, Myelle Addcock and Bastian Robinson. Along with a host of friends and family who will be affected by such an incomprehensible loss.

A special thank you to Oleveyah Wills for your advocacy for our mother. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure she received the care she deserved. Jasmine and I thank you all for the love and support shown.
