Martha Louise Evans

Martha Louise Evans was born on September 29, 1936, in Richmond, IN, and peacefully departed this life on September 10, 2024, at Bethany Village. Martha was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and was baptized in 1975. She found joy in going door-to-door in field service with her spiritual brothers and sisters and cherished the time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Garfield Evans, her daughter Denise Evans, and her great-grandson Donelle Northern Jr. Martha is lovingly remembered by her children Kevin (Candace) Evans, Brian Evans, Joni Corley, Darlene Smith, Dorothea Johnson, and Beverly Reed. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jade Jamerson, Robert Smith Jr., Arthur Johnson Jr., Walter Evans, Michael Evans, Brent Northern, Robin Northern, Rodney Evans, Saryn Evans, Bryce Wilson, Terron Toler, Donelle Northern, and Derrick Corley Jr., as well as special nieces Michael Letts and Tonnette Anthony, and a host of other family, friends, and beloved great-grandchildren. 

 Revelation 21:4 comforts us with the promise: “And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore; the first things are passed away.”
