Phyllis Lorraine (Null) Davis passed away on May 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Phyllis was born to Florine Lillie (Roe) Null and Leland Orange Null in February 1933 in Huntington WV. She was raised mostly in the Huntington area and graduated from Barboursville High School in 1952. Shortly after graduation she married her high school sweetheart Jim Davis. After Jim joined the Air Force, she traveled with him around the United States as a housewife and mother of three boys Jim (Barb) Davis, Ken (Diana) Davis, and Daren (Lori) Davis). She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Diana Gail Davis. Besides her 3 sons, she is survived by 7 grandchildren Jimmy, Jason, Brad, Leann, Jeff, Nicole, and Nathan and 7 great-grandchildren (Hanna, Chase, Kayne, Makayla, Emile, Natalie, Patrick, and Kenlea).
While in the Air Force, they lived in Denver CO, West Palm Beach FL, Albany GA, Fort Walton Beach FL, Alexandria LA, Topeka KS, Biloxi MS, and Dayton OH. Phyllis loved to travel and meet people. Therefore, after moving around in the Air Force for 28 years and settling in the Dayton area, she worked for AAA as a Travel Trip Planner before retiring. Phyllis will be remembered for being a fun-loving person (always making silly jokes), a conscience worker for AAA, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at: Chapman Mortuary, 2851 3rd Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia.
