Regina Slaughter was born on July 26, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio to her late mother Patricia L. Johnson, and father Robert Postell, and was a resident of Dayton Ohio her entire life. She peacefully went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2026, at Hospice Care of Dayton, Ohio.
Regina graduated from Meadowdale High School in June 1984 and went to work at Carriage Inn of Dayton. Regina had love for many things; love to go to bingo, listen to her old school music and gospel, and love the Green Bay Packers.
Regina was proceeded in death by her mother, Patricia L. Johnson, father, Robert Postel, granddaughter, Korena Burney, grandson, Jeremiah Burney, brother Michael Postell, Sr, and various of other relatives.
She will truly be missed by her devoted and loving daughters: LaTisha Postell, Lakisha D. Slaughter (Payne): Stepdaughters: Tajuana Hill and Latoya Crockett-Thomas. Brothers: Lawrence Postel and Robert Postel: Sisters: Donna Hall and Geneva Postell; Grandchildren: Donyae Nelson, Raeven Postell, Remedy Postell, Jamilyla Payne, A'onna Payne, De'zire Payne, Elijah Payne, Ethan Payne: Great Grandchildren: Da'miah Nelson, and Donya Nelson Jr; Bonus Grandchildren: Josha Jr and Ja' Niya: Special friends; Kathy Smith and Tonya Hardin, and host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Regina will forever be known as GG and remembered for her beautiful smile.
