RICHARD CLEVELAND HARRIS

HARRIS, Richard Cleveland age 77 of Selma, Alabama passed away on November 27, 2020. Memorial service 12 pm Thursday December 3, 2020 at Pryor Funeral Home, 2520 Shiloh Springs Rd. Trotwood, Ohio 45426. Internment Woodland Cemetery. We continue to practice social distancing, Please wear a mask.

Richard Cleveland Harris was born on August 8th, 1943 to the late Julia Ann Harris and Morris Perry in Selma, Alabama. Fred (Freddy Frog) & Choo Choo, as he was affectionately known to his family and many friends.

Richard joined the United States Air force after High School.  After his service he had various employers. Richard had many passions in life. Traveling, cooking, socializing, Football. Richard was a fan of the Cleveland Browns & a big OSU fan. Richard had a real passion for life that he readily shared with all he came in contact with.

Though he faced many difficult obstacles in his life, with the help, love, support and selflessness of 13 years dedication of special beloved friend Wanda Canada his relentless determination and optimistic spirit always preserved and was able to live a better life.

Richard departed his life in the comfort of his home on November 27th, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jane Harris, Mother: Julia Ann Harris; Father: Morris Perry; Sisters:  Lillie (William), Dejarnette, Ethel Edwards , Martha (LC) Mosley & Brothers: Willie(Ruby) Harris, Wesley Nixon. He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 Children: Ricardo S Harris, LaShonda M Harris. His surviving Sister Kathleen Bracey. A beloved friend Wanda J Canada. 5 Grandchildren & host of nieces & nephews.
