RONITA L STOKES

STOKES, Ronita Louise, was born on April 5, 1937 to the late Geneva and William Brunell Hill in Dayton, Ohio. Ronita departed this life on Monday February 10, 2020 at her Home. She was preceded in death by her sister Billie Ann Cooper, a daughter Linda Hill and a son Ronald Hill.

 Ronita loved the lord. She was raised in the Baptist faith. She genuinely loved people and always looked for ways to comfort and encourage others. She was solely committed to helping her family and friends until the end. She loved the ocean, fishing, watching cooking shows, reading and gardening.

Ronita was educated in Dayton, Ohio. She worked as a Home Health Aide in Dunn, North Carolina for twenty years before returning back to Dayton. Upon returning she worked with family Daycare business and also with St. Vincent DePaul thrift store before retiring.

In 1977, Ronita married the late Willie L. Stokes and one son was born. She had three sons and three daughters from a previous marriage.

Ronita leaves to cherish her memory; her children Renee Graham, Michelle Graham-McCoy, Roger Graham, and Martin Graham all of Dayton, Ohio and Christopher Stokes of Trotwood, Ohio. Daughters-in-law; Diane Hill, Gena Hill, Judy Graham and Kena Stokes. Son-in-law; James McCoy. Grandchildren; Brittany Ogelsby, K. J. McCoy, Nevaeh McCoy, Pa'Shay McCoy, James McCoy Jr., Roger Johnson, Erica Johnson, Bryan Graham, Martin Cawley, LaTeisha Cawley, Tiffany Cawley, Christopher Stokes Jr., Javon Bowman, Lizzie Barber, Ronald Hill, Silver Hill, William Griffith, Geno Griffith, and Ronald Bell along with a host of great grandchildren, family and friends.

The Stokes, Graham, and Hill family wish to express our gratitude for the love and support extended to the family during our time of bereavement. We would also like to thank all of the doctors at Good Samaritan/ MVH North, and Hospice of Dayton, also Pryor Funeral Home, A Thank You also to Rev. Dr. P. E. Henderson Jr. and Corinthian Baptist Church.
