CAMP, Mr. Raymond, age 72, born New Year's Day, January 1, 1949 but departed this earthly life at his home on October 15, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence C. (SR.) and Mae Willie (Cox) Camp; brother, Clarence C. Camp, Jr.; two sisters, Clara Taylor and Delores Greenberry; special niece, Pamela Camp. He was a proud Paul Laurence Dunbar School Wolverine Class of 1967. He was active in Football and Track going on to College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he also played football. Raymond later returned to pursue his next chapter in life by enlisting in the United States Navy where he was a medical technician. After duty he returned home to Dayton and continued his education at Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. Where he became a professional student because he never stopped wanting to learn and educate others with knowledge. His person interest included writing where he wrote a article in Dayton Ohio Pride Magazine in the 80's. Family, reading, marital arts were his passions; flirting with the ladies and concerning himself  being a ladies man. His charm and smile with those high cheekbones brightened up any room. There was never a dull moment around him and knowledge he definitely would place in you. We all will miss that famous saying of Raymond's somewhere in a conversation," And back at the ranch." He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Elder Leslie Hunt; mother of his daughter, Jackie Hunt-Williams; three grandchildren, Sha-Kesha (Justin) Houston, Antwan (Laquita) Hunt, and Zasia Hunt; three great-grandchildren, Jordynn/Journee/ Dai'Jon; oone brother, Charles Camp; special nieces and nephews, Rochelle Otis of Newman GA; Donald Smith of Washington, DC, Willie Vickers, Anthony Camp, Jerome Camp, Carlis Camp, Nicholas Camp, all of Dayton, OH; and a host of more nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and many friends.
