Robert Earl Shephard

Robert E Shephard, age 80 of Dayton, OH  passed away  on December 8th 2021 after a short illness. He was born on January 22, 1941 to Elizabeth and Andrew  Shephard of Dayton, OH.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Elizabeth (Author) Hovsepian,  Father Andrew (Ruth) Shephard, Brother, Andrew Shephard,  Aunts Anna West, and Dorothy Strozier, Robert is survived by  his wife Cassie Shephard, Daughter Nita Lark, Sons Alonzo Shephard, and Keith Glover. Daughter Michelle (Kenny) Arnold, Sons  Reginald (Eldora) Shephard and Raimone Gresham,  as well as host of wonderful grandchildren and great grand children. Special friends Cecil, Joe and cousin Joanie and Pricilla. He also leaves behind a host of other loving family and friends. Robert served as a chemical dependency counselor for approximately 19 years. He enjoyed helping others in the various challenges of substance abuse.  He loved football and enjoyed being with family and friends.

Private Family Funeral Service 12:00 NOON, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Pryor Funeral Home. Public walk through 11:00am-12:00pm with interment at West Memory Gardens after funeral service. MASK REQUIRED
