Ronald Eugene Gates

The services for Ronald E. Gates will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, located at 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428, on January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

Gates, Ronald Eugene (Ronnie) age 78 of Dayton, passed away on December 1, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton. He attended Jefferson Township High School in 1963 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1965.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorthy M. Gates, and his brother Jackie D. Gates. 

Survivors include his sister, Charlene A Williams of Hoschton, GA: Brothers, Charles M. (Gloria) Gates of Cleveland, OH, and Robert M. (Niover) Gates of Lorain, OH; Aunt Shirley Combs. A dear and close friend, A.J Harbut; As well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
