TANYA MARIE DODSON

DODSON, Tanya Marie passed away March 17, 2020. Tanya was born on January 17, 1965 to the late Barbara Ann Dodson and Herbert Lee Dodson Jr.

Tanya grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She liked to go to the beach and play checkers. She loved to play Stone Love on her record player. She enjoyed singing and dancing. She lived with all of her brothers and was especially close to he brother Oink. They were Bonnie and Clyde. Tanya was a great mother. She had nine beautiful children and loved them all dearly. She enjoyed singing, dancing and turning up with her kids. She loved to BBQ, her beer and Teena Marie. Her favorite song was Fire and Desire. Tanya was funny, loving, and very entertaining. Everyone loved her and she loved everybody. Tanya loved going out and having fun and enjoyed everyday life. She loved to get her hair and make up done and dress up. She loved to go shopping and was very spoiled by her kids.

Tanya Dodson was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ann Dodson, father Herbert Lee Dodson Jr. and brother Herbert Lee Dodson III. She leaves to cherish her memories, children Tangerie, David, Sheena, Cordell, Shabaray, Patra, Darius and Shametta. Brothers, Sisters, and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Cousins and many more relative.
