Terry Ann Moore

Terry A. Moore age 70 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on December 23, 2023, after months of illness. She was born and raised in the Dayton area. After graduating from high school, she got married and lived in Madrid, Spain for a few years. In her younger years Terry loved to sing and dance at the family gatherings, roller skating was another favorite activity for her. She was a fun person to be around once you knew her. Later in life she became vision impaired. Terry was an active member of The National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Miami Valley Chapter. She loved attending their State and National Conventions. One year she testified on behalf of the local chapter at the State Capitol in Columbus. Earlier that year she traveled to the National Convention in Las Vegas by herself. 

Terry is proceeded in death by her son Jeffery (Jay) Moore, her mother Josephine Edwards- Brown, brothers Larry and David Edwards. She is survived by her grieving daughter Nesha Moore, Grandchildren, sister Shirley Fields and brother Marchal (Gertrude) Edwards, nephews William and David, niece Marcia and a host of family members. Terry's presence will be missed by all. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Pryor Funeral Home.
