Timothy James Gibson

GIBSON, Mr. Timothy James (Tim) lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio was born July 10, 1951, to the late James and Rosella Gibson. Tim was the youngest of six children. He departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Tim graduated from Dunbar High School, class of 1970, after high school he worked for Holiday Inn South and Smith Funeral Home. Tim was also Road Manager for the Ohio Player's. During later years he worked for St Vincent DePaul. Tim was an avid sports fan. He also knew a little bit about everything. Loving and caring, yet direct. You didn't have to guess what he was thinking....he would tell you. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Rosella Gibson; his father, James Gibson; brother J. Richard Gibson; and grandmother, Vela McFarland. He leaves to cherish is memory his sister, Lonnie Marable and Sharon Rogers, bother of Dayton, Ohio; Sheila Blakley of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Douglas Gibson and his favorite sister-in-law, Mary Gibson, both also of Dayton, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other friends and relatives. Walk Thru Visitation Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5:-7:00 p.m., at Pryor Funeral Home, 2520 Shiloh Springs Road, Trotwood, Ohio.
