THOMAS, Mr. William, age 80, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. Bill worked at General Motors, Truck And Bus Division for over thirty years of service as a painter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Blackshear; sisters, Lillian (Sue) Cleveland, Catherine (Babysister) Wright, Willene Blackshear Dansby; brothers, Willis E. Blackshear, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn E. Thomas; son, Darren Thomas; daughter, Travella Thomas, both of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Darren J. Thomas of Canton, OH; Deseray M. Thomas of North Carolina, and Keith M. (Nicole) Lewis, Jr., of Dayton, OH; great grandchildren, Jayden King of North Carolina,  Katherine M. J. Lewis, of Dayton, OH; sister, Carlotta Culpepper of Dayton, OH; brothers, Milton and Dennis Blackshear, both of Dayton, OH and Willard Blackshear of Phoenix, AZ. Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
